Curated, not scraped
Every profile, synopsis and momentum score is written or reviewed by our editorial team. Nothing here is copied from a rating site.
Open data foundations
Core facts such as release years, channels and cast lists are cross-checked against Wikidata, which is released under CC0.
Clean on copyright
No episode frames or channel stills are copied. Posters come through the TVmaze and TMDB APIs with a link back where available, other imagery is only used under its own licence and credit, and everything else is generated procedurally.
The engine
How the Trend Index works
Every drama and every star carries a Trend Index from 0 to 100. It is a transparent blend, not a black box, and it is recomputed from the same inputs every time it is shown.
trend = momentum x 0.5 + recency x 0.25 + castBuzz x 0.15 + runState x 0.1
- Momentum is our editorial buzz score, reviewed as the conversation moves. It is clearly labelled everywhere and is never presented as a rating.
- Recency rewards titles that are recent or still running, with a decay that keeps the index honest.
- Cast buzz averages the momentum of the top billed stars, so a show is only as hot as the people carrying it.
Why we show our workings
Rating numbers from elsewhere come with licences we cannot honour and methodology we cannot verify. Instead of borrowing them, we publish our own signal and explain it in full. If a number appears on this site, you can trace exactly how it was produced.
Data and licensing
- Editorial content (synopses, bios, momentum scores) belongs to PakistaniCelebs.com.
- Structured facts are cross-checked against Wikidata, released under CC0.
- Photos and posters, when present, come from Wikimedia Commons, the TVmaze API or the TMDB API under their own licences and are credited on the page.
- This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
- Everything else is generated procedurally; unlicensed stills are never used.
- We are independent and not affiliated with any broadcaster. Channel names are the property of their owners.
Corrections and credits
Spotted a wrong channel, a missing credit or a star we have miscast? Email hello@pakistanicelebs.com and we will fix it and note the change. Accuracy is the whole product.
