The story
Khaani is built on an unbearable injustice: a politician's son kills a young man over nothing, and the victim's sister refuses to let the system forget it. Her fight turns a family tragedy into a national obsession.
Based on a real case, the 2017 serial made Feroze Khan and Sana Javed into household names and set the template for the revenge drama done seriously. Its courtroom confrontations and long memory made it one of the most watched serials of its year.
