The story
Aangan takes a sprawling extended family and lets its courtyards, its secrets and its first loves carry the weight of history. Partition is coming, and the house is busy being a house, right up until it cannot be.
Adapted from Khadija Mastoor's landmark novel, the 2018 serial assembled a remarkable cast led by Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir, Mawra Hocane and Ahsan Khan, and turned an intimate family chronicle into one of the most atmospheric productions of its decade.
