The story
Aye Ishq e Junoon opens with a chance encounter between strangers and quickly becomes a clash of family loyalty, memory and danger. The romance at its centre has to survive people who own the past and will not let go of it.
Sadia Akhtar wrote the thriller and Qasim Ali Mureed directed it, with Sheheryar Munawar and Ushna Shah in the leads. It is prime-time suspense with a romantic core, and its 2024-25 run kept ARY's late slot hot all season.
