The story
Kuch Ankahi gathers three sisters, a family home under threat and a property dispute that brings two rivals into orbit around the household. The drama's pleasures are the old ones: kitchens, arguments, weddings and people learning each other by accident.
Written by Syed Mohammad Ahmed and directed by Nadeem Baig, the serial was built as a tribute to the golden age of ensemble storytelling, and between Sajal Aly, Bilal Abbas Khan, Sheheryar Munawar and a flawless supporting cast, it earned the comparison.
