The story
Bashar Momin is about a man who has never been told no and the young woman who decides to tell him anyway. Their confrontation becomes an obsession, and the obsession becomes one of Geo's most-watched titles of 2014.
Faysal Quraishi's gravity as the title character and Ushna Shah's defiance opposite him gave the serial its friction, and the show's power-play romance left a template that later dramas copied for years.
