Career so far
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar's scripts generate their own weather: Pyarey Afzal's poetry-saturated romance, Meray Paas Tum Ho's national argument. His dialogue is quoted, parodied and argued over in equal measure, and no writer on this list moves the conversation with a single line the way he does.
