Career so far

Umera Ahmed writes moral arguments disguised as serials: Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Shehr-e-Zaat, Alif, Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay, and now Dar-e-Nijaat and Aap Ki Izzat all trade in consequence. Her characters are rarely simply good or bad; they are people being asked to justify themselves, which is why her dialogue sticks.
