The story
Zindagi Gulzar Hai sets a scholarship girl with unshakeable principles against the privileged young man whose assumptions she dismantles one argument at a time. Their courtship is a debate, and the debate is the love story.
Adapted from Umera Ahmed's novel and directed by Sultana Siddiqui, the 2012 serial made Sanam Saeed's Kashaf and Fawad Khan's Zaroon two of the most argued-about characters on television, and its questions about class and family still land today.
